EHBN, Inc. is a community-based nonprofit organization founded in East Harlem. We have developed and run impactful education programs and services within the community since 1965, demonstrating our commitment to meaningful engagement. Operate two early childhood education centers in East and Central Harlem. We are currently seeking an Educational (center) Director to take on a leadership role overseeing daily operations, including supervising classrooms, staff, and children; providing instructional oversight; upholding licensing/policy guidelines; and handling related management responsibilities.
We are looking for an experienced early childhood educator with a passion for creating a fun, challenging, and exciting learning environment for children ages 2 to 5. This leadership role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young lives and the community.
Education: Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in early childhood education or a related field. NYS Certification (B-2) REQUIRED
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a group teacher and minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a pre-school/day care center or child development-related organization.
