Adventure Club is seeking a Site Facilitator (Child Development Teacher) to direct and manage the operation of a state-licensed, before and after school enrichment program including supervision of ten to twenty student staff, supervision of fifty to one hundred forty children, maintenance of records and paperwork, program planning, purchase of program supplies, maintenance of licensing and accreditation standards, and direct instruction of children. The Site Facilitator also serves on a committee.
Qualifications:An associate degree with eighteen to twenty-four hours of child-related coursework, or an equivalent of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities can be acquired is necessary. Six months of experience in planning programs involving children is necessary. A bachelor’s degree is highly preferred. Adequate experience with computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and Outlook are necessary. The ability to be both tactful and flexible, along with the use of good judgment and utilizing common sense when making decisions involving the Adventure Club program is required. Must also be a problem-solver and self-motivator.
Salary & Benefits:
$44,000-$49,000 annual salary, based on education and experience. Exempt, salaried position
$1,500 Hiring Incentive: New Site Facilitators can qualify for a special one-time incentive payment of $1,500.

As Adventure Club is licensed by the DESE Office of Childhood, applicants are also required to complete the Facility Director Certification Request Form.https://dese.mo.gov/media/pdf/mo500-3296-center-directorgroup-child-care-home-provider-certification-request . Once the form is completed, mail the form to the Jefferson City office along with an official copy of your transcripts. Your information will be reviewed, and the form mailed back to you indicating how many children you qualify to supervise. Adventure Club requires at least a qualification of 61+. All programs are licensed by the Missouri Office of Childhood within the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Department. We provide hands-on educational and recreational activities for children in a safe and caring environment.
