An earned doctorate in education, curriculum, and instruction, or a related field with an emphasis on centering culturally sustaining and responsive secondary English language arts/Literacy practices is required. The successful candidate should have a strong record of teaching, and knowledge of current policies and practices associated with curriculum development and disciplinary literacy.
