The Team
The Preschool Team provides a supportive, play-based learning environment and adheres to the highest standards, as recognized by its NAEYC Accreditation. With low child-to-teacher ratios, team members focus on meeting each child's individual needs. The Role
This position offers the opportunity to care for infants or toddlers, providing essential support during a critical developmental period. The role requires a collaborative team player who is passionate about supporting the social, emotional, and physical development of young children. Strong candidates will bring a positive attitude, a growth mindset, and prior experience working with young learners.
Responsibilities
- Provide nurturing care to support the social, emotional, and physical needs of each child.
- Maintain a consistent schedule, Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
- Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and lesson plans with the teaching team.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with families, including updates about children’s progress and needs (via phone calls, newsletters, and conferences).
- Participate in weekly team meetings and professional development opportunities to foster personal and team growth.
- Ensure children’s safety and well-being at all times.
- Experience working with young children and an understanding of their social, emotional, and creative needs.
- Experience in a childcare or preschool setting (preferred but not required).
