On behalf of our client, New Horizon Academy, CohenTaylor is conducting a retained executive search for their Vice President, Education and Career Development.
New Horizon Academy is a family-owned and operated childcare company, with over 100 schools in Minnesota, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, and Kansas. Since 1971, New Horizon has devoted their entire mission, philosophy, and practices to a commitment to excellence and the development of a healthy sense of self in every child enrolled in their early education and childcare programs. As a key member of the New Horizon Academy executive team, the Vice President of Education and Career Development oversees career development strategies and educational excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate is a highly relational and hands-on leader with a passion for early childhood education. They will bring a proven track record in people leadership and a talent for building strategic partnerships. They will have deep expertise in ECE principles and practices, innovative curriculum design, and a commitment to fostering continuous improvement while cultivating authentic relationships to strengthen the education department internally and externally.
Location: This role will require a leader equipped to be in the New Horizon Academy offices in Plymouth, Minnesota on a regular basis. This role will require a leader residing in Minnesota and willing to travel 25-30% to schools throughout Minnesota and other states.
