Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director for our school to be responsible for the overall management of the Preschool and Kindergarten program, including curriculum development, staff supervision, parent engagement, and compliance with licensing regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and implementation of a high-quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum
• Lead and mentor teaching staff, fostering professional growth and collaboration
• Build positive relationships with parents, families, the church, and the community
• Work with the Church Staff and Rector for smooth coordination between church activities and school activities with regular presence at Church staff meetings
• Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations and licensing requirements
• Manage budgets, resources, and facilities effectively
• Conduct regular assessments of program quality and outcomes
• Organize and participate in family engagement events and activities
• Support preschool families’ engagement with Holy Comforter Church ministries through regular communication of church events and invitations for involvement 

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a related field (Master’s in Early Childhood Education, or Business /Education Administration preferred)
• Minimum 6 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 4 years in a lead teacher role
• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in early childhood education
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
