Downtown Brooklyn Childcare is seeking an experienced Director of Education for our Brooklyn, NY campus. Responsible for Facilities Management, Staffing Management, Program Administration and Parental Communication and Involvement. Work with teachers to assure that all classrooms are safe, attractive and developmentally appropriate. Working knowledge of DOH regulations and codes, and ability to handle site inspections. Coordinate parent/teacher conferences to share development milestones of enrolled children. Participate in facility tours and family interviews as required by Program Director. Ensure compliance with all state and local licensing regulations including Article 47.
