Remote Opportunity with Bright Horizons' Education and Development Team!
The Bright Horizons Education and Development team is seeking an inspiring and established leader to become our Senior Manager, Leadership Development! The Senior Manager, Leadership Development will lead a team in supporting the strategy, development, and implementation of orientation, functional, and leadership development for Center Directors, Health & Safety Directors, and Regional Managers. The Senior Manager will be responsible for programs that align with expectations for each position and each phase of the position from orientation through career growth. This work has a strong focus on designing and implementing growth programs that ensure equity for all leaders, including succession programs in alignment with Bright Horizons diversity and inclusion goals. The Senior Manager will collaborate with senior leaders and various departments to create and refine programs to meet learning needs for operational leaders. The Senior Manager will excel in design and delivery of leadership programs, manage general professional development training opportunities, and use data to inform decisions and ensure effectiveness.
What we hope you will bring to the role:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required with a Master’s degree preferred.
Experience as a leadership mentor/coach and passion for leadership and early childhood education required.
Strong leadership competencies (e.g. fosters inclusive and inspiring work relationships, influences with or without direct supervision, delegates as appropriate, skilled at resolving complex issues, strategic thinker, growth mindset.)
3+ years of multi-site leadership experience required, 5+ years preferred.
5+ years of proven experience facilitating leadership training for adult learners required.
Proven accomplishments in results oriented training facilitation, instructional design, and e-learning required.
Strong writing and effective communication skills required.
Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office required.
Experience working remotely and independently.
Frequent travel of at least 1-2 trips per month, typically 2-3 days at a time, is required.
Telecommuting is allowed.
