Cranbrook Schools Brookside is seeking an Early Childhood Music specialist to work with students ages 3-6 (pre-kindergarten through first grade) in the area of General Music.
Candidates must have a Bachelor degree, preferably with a major in music. Early Childhood or Elementary Teaching Certificate, preferably with early childhood endorsement. Prior early childhood teaching experience. Training in any of the top music curriculum approaches including, but not limited to: Music Learning Theory, Orff-Schulwerk, Kodaly, Feierabend, Weikart, etc. High energy level with ability to relate to children, colleagues and parents. Familiarity with computers/technology. Commitment to independent school education.
