Bailey Routzong specializes in its knowledge and expertise in the early education industry. For the last 25 years, we have worked with for-profit school owners preparing to exit the business and making sure that they receive premium value for their life's work. We are looking for a candidate with experience in early childhood education management to include financial / budget background.
While the Candidate will benefit from a steady flow of company-generated inbound leads, the position also requires outbound sales efforts to prospects. Several team members will be involved in training the candidate, to ensure an understanding of processes and those areas of the industry that are lacking.
Proactively conducting outbound marketing programs and qualifying inbound inquiries
Traveling to meet owners and tour schools (estimate 2 trips (3 days) per month)
Overseeing business and real estate valuations and report preparations
Proposing and securing client engagements
Marketing company offerings to prospective purchasers
Negotiating offers, managing due diligence, and closing transactions
Updating information on the client in CRM
Reliably forecasting sales revenue
Understanding and identifying school and non-school related expenses on financial statements
Required Skills and Background
"Hunter" sales mentality
Ability to travel up to 30% locally and nationally
Exceptional people skills and empathy to help clients make significant financial decisions
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
Intermediate understanding of Profit and Loss and Balance Sheets
Preferred Skills and Background
Multi-site operations or financial management in early childhood education or the K-8 sector
Experience conducting complex and/or substantial business or real estate sales transactions
Additional Salary Information: At-plan earnings are targeted to be $250,000+ within 3 years. In the first 3 years, the candidate will have a base salary (DOE), plus commissions. The base salary will scale back over years 1-3 culminating in a straight commissioned sales opportunity at the beginning of year 4, by which time the candidate is expected to be on a trajectory to earning $250,000+ annually in commissions. Additional benefits include standard vacation, a stipend for heal benefits, and reimbursements for company expenses.
