The Anita Zucker Center for Excellence in Early Childhood Studies is seeking a Lead Implementation Coach to provide training and technical assistance to state and community partner agencies implementing the Anita Zucker Center Practice-based Coaching (AZ-PBC) Model.
The Lead Implementation Coach will provide the initial orientation to and training on the AZ-PBC model and will provide ongoing monitoring and coaching implementation supports for agency personnel.
The successful applicant will have prior experience as an early care and education practitioner and provider of professional development in an inclusive early care and education setting. Direct prior experience implementing coaching is preferred.
In consultation with Anita Zucker Center faculty the Lead Implementation Coach:
Collaborates with instructional designers, faculty, or subject matter experts on Practice-based Coaching implementation to develop and deliver training programs, applying recommended practice models and learning theory.
Assesses training or instructional needs using surveys, interviews, or focus groups.
Evaluates training effectiveness and achievement of learning outcomes and recommends changes or adjustments as needed.
Maintains knowledge of current practices and trends in the training/learning/development field to serve as a trainer-of-trainers or mentor to others through ongoing professional development and feedback.
Analyzes and evaluates external training resources to inform the enhanced development of Practice-based Coaching, including software packages, instructional guides, and instructors, with consideration for cost, impact, and suitability.
Perform other duties as assigned related to Anita Zucker Center operations.
Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate and evidence-informed teaching practices
Experience teaching or working with young children birth through age 5 in an inclusive setting
Experience planning for, providing, and evaluating professional development
Experience coaching and mentoring professionals
Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated strength in organization and efficiency in meeting deadlines
Familiarity with federal, state and local program guidelines and standards for early care and education services
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
