Child Development Center. Reporting to the Chair of the School of Human Ecology, the Director oversees the operations of the Child Development Center (CDC), a NAEYC accredited and 3-Star Quality Rated inclusive child development laboratory school.
Hires, supervises, and evaluates Child Development Center employees.
Oversees curriculum development and the implementation of curriculum in the classroom.
Maintains compliance with state licensing, Quality rated, and NAEYC accreditation standards.
Manages the budget.
Facilitates college student field experiences, participation, and internships.
Builds positive relationships with families, faculty, students, child-care agencies and organizations, and the community.
Works closely with faculty in the Child and Family Development Program in providing a top-quality lab school environment as part of the mission of the Child Development Center.

Master’s Degree; five or more years of related work experience; effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; legally authorized to work in the United States; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment.
