The purpose of this position is to instruct classes and labs as assigned by the Dean. This is accomplished by maintaining requisite office hours; providing academic advisement to students; serving on college committees; attending meetings; participating in professional development activities; and performing all instructional-related activities as directed within the policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations of Northeast Community College.
Education: Requires a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Successful candidate will meet the degree requirement or be willing to attain the required degree within two years of hire date. Additional industry certifications such as CDA, Safe With You, Step Up to Quality, or NAEYC preferred.
Experience: Seeking an experienced instructor who is interested in leading a well-established Early Childhood Education Program. Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in post-secondary education preferred. Experience in a variety of course delivery formats and online course development are also preferred.
