American Renaissance School seeks a dynamic Executive Director who will embrace the school's culture of collaboration, cooperation, understand the importance of the "whole-child" approach, and cultivate an environment of high expectations and achievement equipping each student with the skills and values needed for success in high school, college and life in the 21st century.
The Executive Director will work closely with the school leadership team and Board of Directors leading all aspects of school operations including programming, personnel, finance, facilities, fundraising, and community relations. The Executive Director will partner with all stakeholders in the execution of the vision and mission of American Renaissance School.
Founded in 1998, American Renaissance School is a public charter school located in downtown Statesville, NC and serves nearly 550 K-8 students.
The position requires a Master's Degree in Education, School Administration, Business Administration or a similar degree along with a minimum of 5 years of management or leadership experiences. Experiences with Charter Schools is preferred.

American Renaissance School is a K-8 public charter school in Historic Downtown Statesville. ARS originally opened as American Renaissance Charter School in 1998 and American Renaissance Middle School in 1999. The two merged in 2007 to form ARS as we know it today.
