The Early Childhood and Elementary Education (ECEE), Best Practices is a community of Early Childhood educators committed to equity, collaboration and excellence in field-based teacher education, research and service. As a community of Early Childhood educators we are striving to be diverse, research oriented, innovative, collaborative, recognized leaders in the field while maintaining our field based focus. The CEHD, Early Childhood and Elementary Education (ECEE), Best Practices is seeking to hire a diverse, talented and skilled Assistant Project Director. The scope of responsibility will include these specific/essential duties but is not limited to the following,
Develops content specific training for B-5 programs based on project requirements. This includes background research of content area, developing presentations, creating manuals and supplemental materials
Travels and conducts training for B-5 teachers across the state
Develops developmentally appropriate hands-on activities and resources for training
Develops online courses, podcasts, and webinars to extend and supplement face-to-face training
Collaborates with trainers in workshop development
Works collaboratively with BFTS, ECEE, Child Development Program and Best Practices staff to develop and implement special projects
Performs other professional related duties as assigned or requested
