We are currently seeking a Director of Curriculum and Teacher Supervision to join our administrative team.
Some responsibilities of this position include:
Performing evaluation and supervisory system for teaching staff, implemented twice annually
Acting as a member of our Child Study Committee, engaging in collaborative observation of children referred by teachers to determine support systems for teachers and families
Acting as a member of the CDS Admissions Team
Collaborating with administrative staff and faculty to determine programs, program schedules, teacher placement, hours, and planning time
Providing curricular training sessions to faculty
Responsible for supporting the Head of School and teaching staff in research, oversight, and support of curricular development
The ideal candidate for this year-round position has strong classroom management skills, proven interpersonal relations skills, excellent oral and written communication, computer literate, exceptional organizational skills and a propensity for working collaboratively with faculty and families. Experience with integrating out-of-doors learning activities into the curriculum is a must and prior experience in an NAEYC accredited program is valuable.

Requirements for the job include a minimum of a degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related fields with a minimum of 12 credits completed in Early Childhood Education. Transcripts and diploma/s need to be made available upon hiring.
