We are a new school opening in the Tysons, VA metro area. We are searching for enthusiastic and experienced teachers to join our faculty in creating engaging classroom environments focused on Learning through Play.

We are looking for fun and energetic Teachers for the Goddard School in Tysons, Virginia. We are located at 8618 Westwood Center Drive and are within walking distance to Spring Hill Metro Station ( Silver Metro Line).
Duties of Lead Teachers include:
Meeting the individual needs of the children
Communication with parents
Participation in staff and training meetings
Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning
Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level
Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills
Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff
Committing to continuing education

Prior classroom experience
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
Strong written and communication skills
Minimum Lead teacher requirements as outlined by the Department of Social Services of Commonwealth of Virginia
